Everyone saw the Didacts symbol, correct? Well, I was reading about the Didact on the wiki, and it mentions that in the trailer that the symbol in the trailer inverts itself. Now Im just making speculation, but couldnt the inverted didact symbol make it a sort of Anti-Didact? Throughout history inverted symbols mean that they are the opposites of "insert name here".

Examples being: The cross of Christ and the upside down cross of the Devil

Positive and negative

Matter and Anti-Matter

white and black

up and down

good and evil

like I said though, this is just speculation.

Fan speculation, though there are two Didact's. The "true" Didact, and the imprinted consciousness Didact that used to be Bornstellar.

Whether or not they're fighting is unknown.

Didn't the first Didact die?

IIRC the the Librarian talks about it.

Yeah, at the end of Cryptum the Librarian says that after not giving up the positions of the Shield Worlds and the codes for the other Metarch's, Faber executed him on the Prophet homeworld.

Some members within this forum don't believe Faber really executed him, but rather let the rumor run, as killing a prisoner as valuable as the Didact would be stupid.

Silentium features the Ur-Didact, which as far as I know--not a whole lot--is German for original.

Bear was also saying in his blog to another forum member here that there are two Didacts. He said this after Primordium released, so I'm inclined to believe he was referring to Silentium.

If the original is dead, then obviously we'll know in due time.

I believe Frankie said that the inverted Didact symbol represents his "unbound state".

What this means for the Didact or how he became unbound is yet to be discovered.

SPOILER ALERT!

Yeah that's what I was thinking. The inverted Didact symbol could be Bornstellar. If it is, and Bornstellar-Didact has turned on humans, it would be an interesting prelude to Silentium.
