Who the hell do you think I am?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I don't check here often but anyway...

I'm in a private group with a thread that would have exceeded over 22,000 pages of posts had we not split it up multiple times. We're currently on our 4th one with 6,000 pages and counting.

Is there anything in particular that would happen if we were to get to a certain point?

The thread may get glitchy, but there's no particular Webteam set limit that I know of.

No. But our Overlord Achronos did once say that it could cause page loading errors if threads get too long. Posts disappear and stuff.

Oh that's for sure. It takes a couple minutes for posts to appear and lots of weird glitches occur.

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

Shall we demonstrate?

OT: Never seen one that's "reached a limit" so...dunno.

Yeah like the handsome man above me, Forum Tank, said: No set limit according to the webteam, but threads get glitchy and posts could disappear and all that glorious stuff. It's best to just close a thread. Achronos said he might close down the Member Titles thread because it's getting to the point where it will cause page loading issues.

If I may quote you good sir, I am the handsome man above you, not Forum Tank. He is above me.

Also, why would people still be commenting on that thread? What's there to talk about?

It's got 500+ pages more than the "Say something good" thread, which was locked for being too cumbersome. I still don't see how the Title FAQ hasn't been locked yet.

People still have ideas, questions, answers, and new information, about titles, of course.

Because people will talk about titles. That thread gives people a single place to talk about them.

Make a fresh thread and keep the old one for information resources?

As stated there is no distinct limit, however, this is worth a look at. Scroll down until you hit gold. I'm too lazy to link the specific post. -blam!-

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."
