I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

I do like REACH, and think it is a great game.

But the multi-player in my oppionion is not as good as Halo 3.

The lack of maps is REACH biggest problem.

No, ExcessiveFaun6 is not my real gamertag.

Cortana: The message just repeats. "Regret, Regret, Regret."
Miranda: Any idea what it means?
Sgt. Johnson: Dear Humanity... we regret being alien bastards. We regret coming to Earth. And we most definitely regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy-ass fleet!
Marines: Hoo-rah!

If anything... it goes to show that as fans of Halo, we are also submitting ourselves to Bungie's vision and ideology for a gaming experience... which also is responsible for shaping the entire online multi-player experience as we know it today.

A lot of features that we have today playing online originated with Bungie's involvement in creating their model of competitive multi-player in the Halo franchise. Halo is like an 'ancient book', written during a time when there were hardly any other books in existence... which makes the feat of creating it in the first place all the more revered.

Every generation is ignorant of the processes and events that occurred before one's own existence... as an act of complacency and ease of simply falling into a particular typecast.

We defend Halo because it's a religion that has been replaced by a newer one (may all the Fan boys rest in peace)... thus the passing of our youth onto the next breed of humanity.

I really enjoyed reading this. Well written.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

Reach sucks. Haven't played it.

Go here to laugh at idiots.

I don't like Reach, but it's better than a lot of stuff on the market now.

I like the hit detection/registration in Reach, but everything else from the ranking system, the maps, and the gameplay was a step backward imo.

Pioneer and Enthusiast for Halo 3.

You got me. Can I admit that I play Halo 3 and prefer it 1000x over Reach because I can BR and not DMR?

I don't /love/ Reach, but I do enjoy it alot. My first online Halo (not counting like 10 games of H3 in 2011).

  • 07.25.2012 1:25 AM PDT

I loved the Halo games. Since Reach wasn't a true Halo game I hate it.

  • 07.25.2012 1:57 AM PDT

I liked certian aspects of the game. AAs were fun, even the occasional armor lock. The weapons were intresting, and I loved playing games of infection on very well put together maps made by the community.

I did not like how my rank meant virtually nothing except how long I have been playing the game. Firefight and invasion, because I like elites, are basically what kept me playing reach. but for now im done with the game and anticipating halo 4.

PSR = (((K+A)/D)*Win%)*120
The average player's PSR = 100

I enjoy Reach, but nowhere near as much as previous Halos.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I have always loved Reach. I just hate a small fraction of the things that go on within it.
