For me a perfect day in the hands of Destiny would be as follows.
Edit: (It's a long read.)
I'd log into to my last save point within a space station above an ice planet towards the edge of the solar system. Me and a couple of my friends had built and now own the space station and trade fuel, food and other items to other players, in this desolate part of space, keeping ourselves wealthy enough to maintain a couple of ice core extractors down on the planet surface. We'd also have enough to buy and maintain a cruiser and a couple of small shuttles (to take us to the planet surface).
Today holds a scheduled meeting on the largest planet in this system and so I grab one of my friends and head through the docking bay and into the cruiser. Undock and full speed ahead. An expensive slip-space drive ensures we only have a 5 minute journey to make to the 2nd planet from the sun. Lush and green and filled with oceans this planet has been around for almost 3000 years. The civilisations have built up into layered mega cities which dominate large areas of the planet. Countless years of revolution and wars have now ensured that the planet is peaceful and clean, with an exceptionally high standard of living and all the latest innovations in technology.
As we make port with the largest space station of 3 orbiting the planet, I decide to take the space elevator directly down into the heart of the capital city. Fortunately at the bottom of the elevator our allied corporation is already waiting for us. They deal in mercenary protection and as we make our way to their headquarters we begin to discuss some of the latest news concerning pirates in the outer reaches of the system.
It seems they've been gearing up for battle over the last few days and so the time to purchase extra security measures has never been better. As I and my friend are guided around the security firms extensive storage facilities, I can't help but notice the increasing number of ground units. Tanks, mechs and hover bikes cover the view and I quietly wonder to myself out of the several destabilising, colonised planets in the local system, which would be the first to go under their might.
My work on the outer ice planets doesn't concern them and so better to be on their side then against, in my opinion. After going over the latest combat drone technology I decide to purchase 20 or so, just to make the pirates think twice before getting any closer to my little outpost.
After loading up the drones into the cruisers cargo bay, I decide to spend a few more credits and purchase 4 hover bikes to come home as well, theres a couple of indigenous creatures messing with the drills I could take care of. Finally a quick walk into the local trade centre lets me know how much mark up I can put on my goods for the next day and then it's back up the space elevator and into the ship where the engines are already heating up. The ship heaves away from dock and the slip drive spins into action.
3 minutes into flight and a alert message pops up on the ships comms. It's from my space station. Accepting the call grants me a video link to the main control deck, one of my friends is standing there with his combat gear equipped, fire and smoke billowing all around him.
"The pirates struck early! Divert the cruiser and head back! The station's lost, I'm heading for an escape pod, drop off the cargo and then bring the cruiser back in 15 minutes to pick me up from the planet surface after the pirates have left."
The communication shuts down and I plug in an emergency slip space exit into the ships computer. A few seconds later we arrive in dead space. Damn pirates, that's the third time this month.
Double edit: 'And hot tubs with babes' -- as standard :P
