But if you read the Halo book: FIRST STRIKE then you would know that the pelican that sergant johnson was in was not foehammers.

Cut the friggin' spoilers already, I bet I can sum up everything that happens in the books because of you people's big mouths.

Better hurry up and read them! >.< I loved them.

No, I'm not reading the books until people accept that it is not neccesary to read the books to be an active member of these forums.

Halo's a hell of a drug.

Is it possible to kill those banshees on the bridge? I've tried with one gunner, but imagine if you had two hogs and both were gunning.

Ive never managed it, all the people i play co-op with are the N-word, so they never get that far.

As for the whole book thing, they are the story, yes most of the others die but they survive halo atleast. Sarge has a slight regenerative ability but it cant explain his respawnings. Basiclay plasma grenades, even when not activated give off radiation that infe4cted johnso and made him immune to flood infection as his brain waves were jumbled up and the flood couldnt interface.

E419's airfoils were "shot to hell", so there's no way the Pelican can remain aflight. Even if Foehammer survived the crash, she would not have (enough time to) escaped the Autumn's implosion and Halo's destruction(if by any miraculous chance she did make it off Halo, she wouldn't survive for long either way), unless 343 Guilty Spark teleported her.

For what it's worth, you can take out the two Banshees and reach the ending in time, I did it.

but they are canon, how coulds they be anything else?

If Bungie were to use a Spartan in Halo 3 that was killed in a book, without explaining why, then what would you say?

Bungie has the right to do whatever they want in their game, regardless of what the books have stated. I can't see Bungie doing this, but they could. If something were canon, then it couldn't be superceded.

they have the right to do anything they want with Halo that is true, but they would never do something like that considering they supervised the books, they would make sure that they didn't do something that would conflict with the books.
