I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

According to the banner on the right, Bungie is dark. But are they really?

Sure they're not releasing anything about their up coming game but compared to past times, Bungie is interacting more with the community than ever.

Just think about it. When Bungie more or less has their doors open to info about the next big thing, the community got four BWU a month. They're nearly getting four community interactions done per week. On average we'll receive the opening to a Mail Sack, a Breaking in Interview, Community Ride Along(this hasn't happened for a while DeeJ, fix that!), the answers to our questions, and a challenge. That challenge gives us an opportunity to win awesome stuff!

So are we, the Community, greedy? We have always been proud of the fact that Bungie gets involved with the community. So why do we keep asking for more when we are already receiving plenty?

It's as you say, people here have grown accustomed to high levels of interaction from our hosts...it's nothing bad, people just need to adjust.

I think everyone is just a bit annoyed that they haven't had any big updates for a while. But we have to be patient.

Sometimes it does bother me when people on the boards complain about the lack of news/interaction from Bungie.

I know of no other game developer that has the type of relationship Bungie has with her fans. We get spoiled.

Bungie will show us what they want us to see when they believe it is the right time. Frankly, I wouldn't want it any other way.

It will be glorious. It always is.

OT: I think that people are mostly wanting some information about the next game. Interaction hasn't dropped much, if at all, but previously we'd be getting lots and lots of game information. Now we have a name, a few logos and a year - which have arrived over the course of years. In terms of info, that's nothing compared with Urk's weekly updates.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Because we're not getting the info that we want?
We should just be patient.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

Everyone one just wan't some information, or something to do that's all. The community is holding on though. We will make it. As for greedy I don't think so, every community would be like this if they were in our situation.

Bungie is still dark. They're interacting with us as a community, but they're still completely dark about their project. No real news out of the company regarding Destiny, hence the term.

If this was real life, it'd be the equivalent of all of us going up to Bungie HQ expecting to enter, only to have DeeJ come out and talk to all of us without letting us in. Naturally, some people don't appreciate that because what they really want is inside the doors. But they're still keeping most of us happy outside. Are we greedy? Sure we are, because most of us are really looking forward to info about Destiny. The interaction we're getting is great. People aren't clamoring for lack of interaction, though, but rather a lack of information. It will be even better when we get both!

Either way bungie.net could be classed as my internet home. Bungie.net is my social site. I come here to chat and talk.. I don't have lagbook.

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

Not greedy, we're just wanting more of the same stuff we've seen from Bungie over the years.

I agree, this transition is just temporary, soon the light will shine again.

Yep.

Key

What we want:

-Bungie/Community Interaction
-Destiny information
-A game

What we have

-Bungie/Community Interaction

However much of an overload we have of that one thing, it still doesn't mean we have the other two things. I'm sure most of us are extremely grateful for how fantastically Bungie has been accomplishing and going above and beyond to deliver that first thing on the list; but we don't have the other two.

If you get a 100%, A+ in Math class but get a D- in English and an F in Science, your GPA's going to suffer.
