You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Great videos! Can't say the same about his dress sense though =D
His sense of style is fabulous.

Bungie could be on to something here.
Are you implying Joe Staten made some references to Destiny in his interviews? I don't think I see anything.

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

Of course it's a reference. They're basically saying that the way they want to tell stories now is in a more open, non-linear fashion, and let the players do their own thing, and just have the most fun possible.

It's not directly about Destiny, but it's obvious that that is how they want their new series to play out. I can't imagine that they'd wait 10 years until they start another series to start this strategy of storytelling and game play.

My name is Mark Mezzetta and I was a beta tester for Bungie's game Oni and Take Two's game Myth 3: The Wolf Age.

Everyone should view his "Story vs. Persistent Game" presentation, it gives us insight into their story processes for their future game(s), which is going to take a non-linear route. This makes me very happy!

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Brilliant :) I'm looking forward to Destiny even more now :)

Old School Gamer and Proud Member of the Seventh Column

I appreciated his comments about the color pallet of Halo. Bright environments with great sound. This is one of the primary reasons I like Halo. When a game is dark . . . too dark in my opinion, the experience gets depressing and I have a difficult time staying engaged.
