Frankie said this:
Multiplayer test sessions are proceeding apace and I already have stumbled into one of the perils of Halo 3 development - playing a two hour multiplayer game of Halo 3 and then playing Halo 2 at night, only to discover I have forgotten the layout of Burial Mounds and the cool new weapon I just got used to, isn't in Halo 2…
It started me to question some things that may or may not be true afterall. I know many people that have left halo 2 to play other games for long periods of time, and still remember the layout of a map including its weapons. This especially struck me as odd coming from a Bungie employee that was there through the design and release of Halo 2 which should make it even harder to forget the layout of a map compared to a person that wasn't. I know there is a high chance that this could mean nothing at all or it could be some kind of hint. I know this was mentioned before in a different thread but it got locked before I could find it.

Frankie speaks in riddles. I've decided that it's best not to try and decipher them. It will make your head explode.

It is sometimes easy to forget old levels if the new 1 you're used to is extremely similar although how do we know this person works with Bungie at all? Would they really be casually chattin about their confidential project?

I think it meant that there will be a new version of Burial Mounds and that he got used to playing on it. But when he went back to the old Burial Mounds, he found it hard to readjust.

Do none of you have a sense of humour?
We do, this just isn't funny.

It is not easy to forget maps and weapon positions. I didnt play Halo 2 for 6 months, came back and new my way around the maps, and the weapon positions.

Your telling me Frankie, who has played this game longer than we have plays another map for a few hours and forgets the old maps?

~~Pardon Our Dust.~~

I believe that paragraph means:

1) There's a new weapon Frankie enjoys.
2) Burial Mounds has been redone and it's layout was changed some, therefore he forgot it. Just as most of us have forgotten the old Halo 1 layouts.

(Blood Gulch is different than Coagulation, etc.)

That's more of a guess, but it's probably the most likely.
