When I broke my ankle, I needed crutches to walk. I called them "Armor" and "Lock"

None of those made me sad. Instead the stories all made me tear up with happy tears of joy, reading about all of the love and affection and other gooey junk.
Except the Kiwi. That just killed part of my soul
Again, stop being such a cry baby -blam!-. If fictional cartoons like that make you sad then I've lost all hope in humanity.
How does my emotional reaction to a cartoon affect your faith in humanity?
It told of a kiwi, a small flightless bird, doomed to walk the earth without ever feeling the sensation of flight, who devotes his life to finding some way to fly. The kiwi works for God knows how long nailing trees to a mountain, and jumps off. Preferring to live a short life and feel the sensation of flight once rather than living a long healthy life and never getting to fly.
Just because it's a cartoon doesn't mean it can't invoke a certain feeling of emotion.
Just try watching this scene from "Plague Dogs" without feeling slightly disturbed, shocked or saddened.
lol fictional cartoon
And I'm well aware of the premise of Kiwi, but that's the thing ITS FICTION. It didn't happen so how can you be sad about it?
MFW
Have you ever once seen a work of fiction that invoked any kind of emotion? Have you ever seen a movie that made you have feelings of happiness, shock or sadness? Have you ever played a video game that scared the crap out of you? Have you ever been saddened by a sad song?
Again, simply because it never happened doesn't mean a good story can't invoke a certain feeling
