I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

Both a Hobbit and a Star Trek/Shakespeare reference in the Mail Sack? That's nerdy awesome!

You've never truly experienced Shakespeare until you have enjoyed him in the original Klingon
If somebody actually caught that as the reference rather than Julius Caesar, that would have been awesome.

If this is the state of my art, then I secede.

I did a little research and turns out that the URL for that mail sack was:
http://www.bungie.net/News/Blog.aspx?mode=news#cid32151

Nothing out of the ordinary. Not to the untrained eye.

cid32151

Numbers. AND letters. And you know what happens when letters and numbers get together. They make code words.

CID32151 = 511 DIC3

511 is the area code for the San Fransisco Bay Area.

Huh. Not too sure what to make of that.

DIC3 is a multi-sided prism that you shake vigorously, and then gently blow them all over the table in front of you.

I'm sorry, what? San Fransisco Dice? Possible anagram?

Soooo...

How constant is your mail-sack now!

Maybe him reference Star Trek was purposeful. They were blown up immediately after saying that quote. Has the Mail Sack been destroyed in similar fashion?

On a somewhat unrelated note, Picard said "O brave new world..." in the last TNG episode I saw.

Anyone feel like this may have meant something concerning the Destiny maps?

Jus discussin.

Edit: Thanks Deej, my mind is at rest once again.

The voice acting needs more emotion put into it. Other than that it is pretty well done.

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

To further relate this unrelated note, it just so happens to be one of the last episodes in the series! *Star Trek conspiracy*

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

The Mail sack does a good job on making me want to brush up on pop cultural references, learn history, and read more classical poetry.
