Ever since the release of it's beta, Reach has been the only game out there worth playing.

You suck at Halo 3. No wonder you think Reach is better.

The 343 forums suck. They're full of retarded kids and mods who got butthurt in the B.net forums for being told that they're bad.

This game lost my interest far sooner than Halo 3 did. I played 3 until Reach came out; I can't do the same with Reach til 4 comes out.

Reach just isn't fun without friends, and even then it's frustrating, just more tolerable.

Seriously, why? Granted that most games on the market are the same way, I still want to know why a game series which had the capacity to garner my attention for more than 30 minutes suddenly went downhill.

It's about as illogical as Reach itself.

> Calls Reach boring

> Played 300+ hours of Reach

But it is boring. It's been boring for all 2000 games I've played in it. The only time it's been fun is when friends are there, and they're practically a necessity (and, I'll admit, Flagstravaganza was fun). I can't just go into MM by myself anymore because it pairs you up with people who may or may not have thumbs, so it turns out that the only playlist one can search alone in anymore is Rumble Pit, and even that's incredibly repetitive.

It. Is. Boring. It's just less boring than the other games that have been on the market.

Why would you play 2000+ matches of a game that you think is boring? Either you didn't think it was boring back when you were playing it all the time and you've grown bored of it now which is understandable because you've played a LOT, or you were bored all along which doesn't make sense given the time you've put in.

Half of what I say is true. The other half are also lies.

░▀▀▀ ░▀ ░░░▀ ░▀▀▀ ░░▀ ░░░▀░▀ ░▀ ░▀▀▀ ░

It just becomes dull as you notice more and more things like the fact that you achieve very little in campaign, matchmaking is all about luck, and firefight is about survival or, in the case of arcade, how many fuel rods are being fed to the enemy.

And then there's the fact that all the weapons but the sniper, the DMR, the shotgun, and the rocket launcher are next to useless.

Maybe it's your realization that you're becoming old, and video games actually have to be bada** to have replay value.

Herroh. U have reached teh BOOGIE LAND

Reach would be a good Halo game if it had a viable ranking system for multiple playlists, like Halo's 1-50

  • 07.29.2012 4:19 PM PDT

It takes about 6 consecutive hours of playtime to get boring, for me.

That's only in comparison to other games. Before BF3 came out, every game that was played by a considerable population was either even more distasteful or simply wasn't within my interests. Trying to go back to games that were once good before but no longer have the population to support it just don't do it for me.

I played it because it was practically the only thing to play.

Try using the mic and talking to people. Doesnt matter what game you play, a good conversation makes any game 10x better.

-Rarely anyone has a mic
-1 in every 3 randoms with mics are a chore to listen to
-The other 2 in every 3 randoms rarely talk

The adrenaline-packed thrills that you have in 10 seconds of games like Battlefield 3 are stretched out over an hour with Reach because it slow as hell.

This. After I bought Battlefield 3 I haven't really touched Reach. It's just fast and fun, and when I due it's usually because I get outplayed, not because of lolReach mechanics.

Players don't have to win. So naturally, no one cares and the game is much more boring.

Bull-blam!-.

-The other 2 in every 3 randoms rarely talkMaybe you should start talking to them, and get them to talk. There's this one thing people like, and its called being friendly. You should try it.

I'm serious. Sometimes people who even have mics don't use them.

I'm not going to listen to bad singing, a broken mic, or someone who's just generally retarded when there's a mute button.

-The other 2 in every 3 randoms rarely talkMaybe you should start talking to them, and get them to talk. There's this one thing people like, and its called being friendly. You should try it.
I'm generally a friendly person. I don't tolerate arrogant stupidity, but I've tried. It still doesn't work.

You answered your own question.

No I haven't. I expected more from Bungie who used to set the bar on console FPS quality, and didn't expect them to adopt the same pattern as every other dev who wanted to cash in on the trade of quality for quantity.

I'm sorry America is busy helping others in the world and actually making a difference.

Something Canada will never do.

because it's a poorly made game

But why? That's the part I can't fathom.

Unless Bungie was lucky throughout everything they did in the first three games (even if there were a few bad points), it doesn't make sense that there would be such a sudden drop.

well they abandoned it, so it wouldn't surprise me that they half assed production because they knew they were leaving the halo franchise anyway.

Ever since the release of it's beta, Reach has been the only game out there worth playing. They continually update the game with new challenges and game types, which is more than I can say for anything else out there. Further, they carefully monitor for hacks and mods to preserve the purity of the game for everyone who signs in to play. How in your esteemed opinion do you figure it went down-hill?

It's more likely that you're some COD fan-boy who's just trolling. Frankly, I think you ought to feel thankful that this websites MODs haven't shut down this pathetic post.

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

Reach still has my attention.

I still get my 30 seconds of fun.

If you have not played already and want a break from Halo, or need something new, highly rcommend BF3 (Battle Field).

Is alot like COD, only you get tanks, much better.
