Bungie, you simply need to add an extensive amount of customization to Halo 3. Organizations such as MLG all play custom games anyway so by giving them extensive customization you keep them happy and let them figure out what a fair H3 multiplayer is like. Things such as choosing what weapons spawn and where is just an example. Halo 3 can appeal to both crowds this way andf everyone is happy.

The ratio for Average Gamer to Pro Gamer is about:

10 000 000 : 1

And no matter how much they try to cater to these guys, another goup would step up to -blam!- about something.

Just keep doing what you are doing Bungie. It's gonna rock.

why do you guys assume that only hardcore players want to play mlg type games , you guys dont get it do you , the reason why people like mlg gametypes is because they are fun and balanced not because everyone wants to be a pro. I dont know where this is coming from if halo 2 had Br starts from the get go you wouldnt see anycomplaing at all. i am no where close to being a pro but i enjoy Br starts more than anything

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts, absolutely.

Which makes you biased on this subject.

I think that Bungie should make it the way they want to make it. Life does not revolve around the MLG nerds I MEAN players. They need to get the fact in their head that because they are better in a VIDEO GAME than the average person DOES NOT MEAN they can dictate the way the multiplayer in a game goes.

Let Bungie do it the way Bungie wants their final game in the best game series ever to be.

One game I'm not joking a little like 7 year old said and I quote " tell me what your dick looks like so I can imagine it in my head and beat off to it"

If Team Swat became ranked, would there still be no shields?

Amazing!

I think bungie should try to make it appeal to as many as possible, but not screw the game up in the process.

don't make it too MLG friendly (because it simply wouldnt be any fun) and dont make it to new-players friendly, because the halo vets want skill based play.

sure its a hard job but it'll be okay with proper tuning.

imo, MLG is too... boring. really, these self-proclaimed "pro gamers" say they're amazing (and some are very good players, dont get me wrong), but all most of them know is how to kill some1 with a BR. i think the MLG BR starts and no radar is an okay gametype, but no one really wants that forever. no sane person at least. games are fun, not a serious lifestyle. i'd rather blow stuff up and laugh my head off than get pissed over some1 BR-ing me b4 i could get them (or me BR-ing them and having them get angry).

The Marty Army

Ah, look at the lonely people...

I think that it should be extensively customizable, down to the amount of auto-aim on the weapons and ways to disable one weapon in a game, instead of an entire set. I've always wanted to have an "all-needler" game, or a game with all the weapons but the Plasma Pistol.

Interesting. You just said MLG is in charge of making it fair and Bungie should let MLG "fix" the game. That's very stuck-up. You just stated what would make "MLG" happy, not the community.
