Reach for Halo!

Hey Everyone,
So lets say theoretically that the Fall Update Public Beta has IE capabilities, and that it is theoretically really cool. (I know what your thinking. IE? Cool? I know)

Theoretically of course, its just the webpage. Just like you are seeing now.

My question is, will Bungie create a better webpage designed for console webbrowsers? All consoles which Bungie will be selling on in the future have a web browser, so it would make sense for websites to now have a site designated for that like they do for mobile phones and such.

Also; is that even possible? and will it affect the New Hawtness?

TL;DR - Xbox finally has webbrowsing, will Bungie create a webpage designed for it and its fellow console webbrowsers.

[edit] Now does it break the NDA?

I did the same thing yesterday, but I think the regular layout works fine.

It works fine IMO. And even though you aren't really discussing details, isn't this technically breaking the NDA?

After being an XBOX Ambassador for 2 years, we finally got a really cool perk, reserved placement in the Fall Update Beta.
I still never got that email, even though I signed up separately anyway...

Is it breaking the NDA? Because everyone knows there is a public beta with IE capabilities...

But am I really?I am not discussing any technical aspects of it. Just restating information already given out by Microsoft.

read the fine print.

Do NOT:

· Blog about the Preview Materials.

· Post pictures, screenshots, or video clips of the Preview Materials.

· Discuss the Preview Materials, in discussion forums, emails, or podcasts.

· Talk with the media or press about the Preview Materials. This includes bloggers, newspaper reporters, and television reporters.

I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."

I personally do not care if this breaks the NDA. If you edit the OP to say 'So let's say theoretically that all consoles in the future will have browser capabilities, will bungie spend any time developing forums/pages specifically for consoles?'

Reach for Halo!

I have no relation to the program and am only reiterating information from Major Nelson and past interviews about the IE for XBOX...;)

there is no need for a console version of the site seeing as they designed it to work for pc site versions.

Reach for Halo!

But what about the Aston Martin webpage from E3? That was designed for the PC and Computer user but had increased functionality for the XBOX, which theoretically it may still have ;)

Of course it's possible to design websites for the console browsers. I didn't think that it needed to be said. That said, is it really worth the development time?
