Way back in the olden days, people could not decide what was the better gun in H3, the BR or the AR. In fact many threads were created by people who were determined to convince all on Bnet that their position/opinion was the correct one. It sure cluttered up the boards. And then something glorious occurred. Some wise man created the The Only AR/BR Thread This was the only place that anyone could discuss how the AR was a noob weapon or that the BR was overpowered. People could continue to argue about something so ridiculous without the rest of humanity having to bothered by it.

Could we not do the same for all those who dislike Halo Reach? All who think the DMR is overpowered or hit boxes too large with not enough bleed through, bloom, etc. could go to one centralized place on the Reach boards and bellyache all they want without having to congest the forum with such dribble.

I think it would be grand. How about you?

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

Why? So the common theme of the forum can be how much Reach makes our tummies tingle with happiness? Get over it, kid. People don't like the game and just about any forum over an online game is going to have dissatisfied players as the vocal majority.

You can, however, go to Waypoint forums where posting any negativity, cynicism, or anything about MLG will get you banned after you are flamed by a huge wave of fanboys that think they know everything.

Just look at the first page of the H3 forum and count the number of threads complaining of some aspect of Reach or denigrating those who happen to like it. It is as if no one cares . . .this includes the proprietors of this site.

It just gets old and I have a difficult time believing it would have been allowed to happen 3+ years ago.

You're welcome to go to Waypoint if all you want is people blindly praising the game and agreeing with each other about everything.

Halo multiplayer sucks!

Based on campaigns

Halo 2 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo 3 > Reach/CE tied

Bungie have no incentive to pin such a thread. They have nothing to so with Halo or it's discussion, and they wont be pinning an more Halo related threads. That's what they told me when I asked them to pin a thread related to Halo 3.

Yeah, you're right. The only good thing that will help is when the new Bnet update arrives, this forum will look nothing like it does now.

The posts are on topic for this forum. Leave them be. Just because you don't like seeing them doesn't mean they shouldn't be there mate.

You're trying too hard for a pinned topic. Not going to happen if you ask for it. It will only happen naturally.

I agree with you but when close to half of the threads on the front page center on perceived negative aspects of Reach, it clutters the page and gets old. Hence, the reason the AR/BR thread was created during H3. And it was effective.

Put them into a central location and let the participants frolic.

More or less just trying to make a point. I know it won't happen.
