So your saying that this entire thing is built around some symbol that he may, or may not have seen? When there is proof that he choose the design becasue it was very close to the design of many bridges that he made. Did you pull the symbol out of your ass or do you think that you can show how he got the idea for the shape? I think that even if this is fan-fict you should be able to back it up. And it is aerodynamic because of how it channels the wind.
Also to ConfusedCrib, note the ribbing on the Eiffel tower and how it was built to let the wind flow through it, where the wind cannot flow through the solid exterior walls of the forerunner ships.
First, it is fiction. He liked the symbol. Beauty is a subjective thing because what everyone define is different. I did back it up, the forerunners put the symbol there.(i could of pull it out of my @ss, Joking)
I don't know what you're trying to get with the aerodynamic thing. I clearly explained everything in the story, just go back and read it more carefully. I said the shape was aerodynamic because it was once a thing that blew in the air. I explained why the architect didn't build it like the original. To save resource and to make it more aerodynamic when it is standing up right, not flying like the shape was designed to.
