Bungie should go back to thier roots with what they had going
that was great in Halo 1, especially in the areas of plot cinematics and presentaion of the story.
Halo 3 should have the same style, charm and flair that Halo 1 did when it came out.
(Campaign ) I don't know what it is but the storyline from Halo 2 felt like someone
different wrote it. If they could look at some of the big story points in Halo 1
that worked so well that FANS LIKE SO MUCH and apply these things to Halo 3,
The new game would be so much fun, especially the campaign.
Some of the plot points particulary awesome, were
1 the introduction of the ring as a weapon
2 the revealing of the flood
3 the loss of captain keyes
In Halo 1 these were some GREEAATT jaw droppers, it kept the intensity up
and the story was new, fresh, and SUSPENSEFUL.
In Halo 2 there wern't that many big things that were shockers. The civil war with
the coventant and the gravemind werer interesting, but not revolutionary.
The change to having no med kits was excellent though.
Halo 3 needs to have several big shocking surprises that will both keep fans happy
and tie in with the storyline. Hopefully Bungie will inject some of campaign
greatness from Halo 1 and carry it over.
Perhaps the revealing of the Forerunners will help ??
They are already off to a good start with bringing back the AR.
