Yay yuh!!!!!

Today I was in a disagreement with a person. He claimed 343 gives you more credits now. He also said you don't get more credits for being a higher rank which im 99% sure is not true. so does anyone know?

Yes.

I'm pretty sure your friend is right on both of those things, more so the first one.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Daily and Weekly Challenges generally have been increased to give you more credits. I remember only getting between 10,000/15,000 credits for doing Weekly Challenges even back in January time and people were complaining we didn't get enough to value the effort we put in.

Yes.

Good evidence. But you guys think you get the same amount of credits even if you a way higher rank then someone else?

If you play against other people in matchmaking (eg Team Slayer) you all get roughly the same amount, but if you play a game of Firefight in Matchmaking then the higher rank will generally get more credits than the lower rank.

I agree but I could still beat you. So lolrank sometimes means a little but usually not.

I am 10000000000000000...ect% positive you get more cedits at higher ranks. during the free XBL weekend a while ago, i used my bros silver account to rank him up.

My XBL profile:
at least 1,400 per game.

My Bros:
not evan 1,000 per game.

You get more credits based on your rank; your match bonus scales.

Source: Having read a million threads on it. Also, this thread from yesterday, the fifth post down, Godzneighbor stated he gets around 20k credits per griffball match as an Inheritor.

Thank you. I remember lots of people saying you get more if you are a higher rank.

343 has been giving more credits for challenges etc.

The higher your rank, the more CR you get per game. Majority of your credits come from "Game Complete", which is completely based on your rank and time in that game.

An Inheritor will get like 10,000 Cr for a 15min game from game complete, while a Warrant Officer gets like 800 for a 15min game for game complete.

This has always been like this.

Higher ranks get more cR. If we didn't it would take an eternity to rank up.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

Oh gawd what am I reading?

Rank in Reach is only indicative of how long you're been playing. Nothing more.

Not always. I know a guy that only ever plays custom games.

Well of course there are players like that, but the point is that rank in Reach does not relate to skill in any way. The only thing rank is really an indicator of in length of playtime, generally speaking.

Yes for the first one. No for the second.

I, a Reclaimer, get 8-9 thousand cR a game of arcade firefight and my friend who is a brigadier gets 2-3 thousand cR an arcade firefight game. Even though we play together in the same game. So rank has a big difference in the amount of cR you get.

But to address OP's actually topic question: Yes they do give you more credits in two ways:

1) They have, in general, upped the credit rewards for all daily/weekly challenges
2) They added Custom Challenges, which when used right, can give you a huge bonus to credits gained

The rank-scaling match bonus has always been around since release.
