Shadow mod > Regular mod

Just sayin'. Also, no, I wish I were an employee though!

If I became a mod, I'd probably posts a hell of a lot less, I'd be too worried about messing up, because that's a lot of responsibility. I guess it could be fun, but "fun" is pretty subjective, and might even be a bit of a stretch....

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

I guess it would be interesting to help out, but I'd rather work at bungie.

I hear you also get to have very frightening twitter pictures without any consequence.

  • 07.31.2012 11:35 AM PDT

I don't think the mods want me.

I think that they've gotten the image that I don't like them, because I always complain about their inconsistency.

If they do think that, they're wrong. But I think that they see me complain about something, and assume that I am complaining about everything. Of course, I could be wrong, but this is the impression that I get from them.

In a way, I already have the power of a moderator, with none of the consequences. *hovers mouse over the report button* I don't think I'd make a great one, or really enjoy Bungie.net the same way. I'm probably not even a candidate. But I guess I just don't know what it is like to be a moderator, although I'm somewhat curious, and wouldn't mind helping out.

To sum it up, if offered, I think I'd say yes.

  • 07.31.2012 11:52 AM PDT

It keeps me up at night. To be honest, I haven't slept in years.

  • 07.31.2012 11:53 AM PDT

Key

I feel like the public outcry if I ever became a mod would be so overwhelming the even considering considering my name ever is probably something they're not likely to do.

Bye.

I'd like to be a mod without the colored text and custom avatar. I don't really want the added attention (aside from questions and ban appeals).

I want the same forum experience I've always had; being ignored. But with the perk of keeping the forums clean.

:-)

I think the only real answer to this question is who wouldn't want to be a mod? They get to wield the banhammer, they're badasses, and on top of all that they get all the hawt chix and naked pictures of Stosh they could ever want. The only cost is a vicious wet noodle beating and a couple days in a dark room, but even then tots worth it.

Yeah, but only because I'm on more often than most mods.

Mods are lurkers, don't get too confident.

Roll with the hits, not under them.

No, you can't have it. But thanks for asking!

I'm a mod on a mechanic's forum, and honestly, it about killed my participation in regular threads. I'll still post technical help for specific problems, tutorials, and the like, but it really took the fun out of regular banter.
