In most missions on halo you face banshees somewhere in it, but have you ever seen them from the side? The hood is not closed, however in multiplayer online when you're in a banshee the hood is closed so you do not fall out of it while ascending, so, if the covenant were in the banshee wouldnt they fall out? I had seen 2 banshees ascend while I was in one fighting them off in the mission "The tunnels below" they were going so high they were doing ascending barrel rolls with the hoods open, im asking xbox players, was this mistake fixed in halo 2? (or is it not a mistake?)

What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

There are magical sticks that come into apperance when the Elites get in a banshee.
Either that, or Bungie hates us. I assume both.

No, he was asking them if halo 2 has the same problem.

Some of them are like this, some of them arent. In Halo, the 2 that attack you have closed hoods. Later in the level when 2 more attack you, so do they. In the Maw, the ones that go after foehammer have raised hoods and like 400% health.(you have to shoot one with the chaingun for like 2 minutes before it will explode). I dont remember any others, but im pretty sure that most, if not all, of them have closed hoods in Assualt On The Control Room.

Oh I know what he's talking about.

You do see the same thing in Halo 2, for example, let's say you board an enemy banshee and before you have a chance to throw the pilot out of the banshee the pilot voluntarily presses "X" and gets out of the vehicle. Then when you get inside the banshee, the hood remains open. If the pilot didn't get out of the banshee and you threw him out, the banshee hood would have been closed after you hijacked it.

I dont think its a mistake because the banshees on the cover of the CD have their hoods open. just look at this

Maybe it gets really hot in the Banshee. The covenant leave the hoods up so they don't get as sweaty. Also, the Banshees don't shoot out beams. Although that would be sweet, them firing beams like the Setinals.

ever used dev to take over the body of an elite, marine, etc? well if u have i noticed that they move differently (the elite, when in midair, cannot move, and the marines cannot strafe left and right). also i took over an elite with a sword and there was no sword animation on my hud. so what i am saying that maybe since they are diffeently controlled than the master chief, maybe their animation is different too. or another theory. when u melee and elite in the back u can do it from a certain distance and teh farthest away is about a meter (and it doesnt even look like ur hitting him) but he still dies. maybe his "invisiback" is taking up that space

The truth is obvious: they hang on to bars inside (sort of like a handglider type thing) which in turn makes their concentration focus on it more, instead of flying (which is why they suck so much and fly into objects etc.)

There are 3 differn't banshee.vehicle tags in Halo 1. The ones with closed hoods are the ones you use regulary, the other 2 are cinimatic and the one that you escape in "Key's with"

what are you talking about? Theres only 2 types of cinimatic, when we're in it, and when the covenant are in it. Not 2 for the covenant...
