Subject: Would you rather have this?

I see a lot of forums having problems with the siggys that are under the post. I honestly like the drop down sig because it makes the forums cleaner looking and easier to navigate.

I have to agree with almost everyone that the drop down is what I think is best as it keeps things nice and tidy around here.

I would much rather have a Big Mac and I hate big macs. I dislike signatures so I like the way we have it set up right now. People that like signatures can press the arrow and people like me that don't care for it just go on with life. It's a win win. I'm also not a big fan when people sign their name after every post. I can already see your username on the top I don't have to see it at the end of your post.

Not a fan of signatures.
Especially when sites allow people to embed .gifs.

And different colored text. And no size limit signatures. And the quotes. Oh my sweet and sour sauce the quotes. *shudder*

Most sigs here are texts saying pointless -blam!-, or links. Personally, I like them how they are, although a private drop down option wouldn't hurt. I can see plenty of pro-signature users using them.

No. That's obnoxious.

If people want to look at sigs that bad they will click on the arrow or check your profile, sorry to burst someone's bubble but most people don't care about your signature.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

You would have to make the sigs a LOT smaller and they would have to be enforced more.

Same here. I prefer them as a simple drop down.

Signatures look too messy.

I could see people spamming ASCII art, profanity, and shock site links.

I think it keeps the page cleaner with the signatures found in the drop down tab.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Definitely not. This site looks great, much better than any other forums I visit; one reason being the collapsing signatures.

I go on sites with drop down sigs and sometimes they are really annoying and confusing.

We should know better, because we are better.

No, I like signatures hidden. Slightly off topic, but how many people looked at other's sigs just because this is a sig thread?

I wouldn't want the addition of banners or anything because then it would get out of control.

I like it how it is and would not change how the site looks simply add new features or improve current once.

This.

They used to be just below your post, and they were just eye sores.

Though I wouldn't mind it being an option, meaning you can see them under post if you would like and my screen can stay clutter free.
