No...the real question is who DOESN'T want it from the last checkpoint?

They have had it the same way for the past two games. Why would they change it now?

Saving at the last checkpoint is fair enought for all difficulty settings except legendary. I feel by playing the game on legendary you should be entitled to something other than a severe thrashing. I mean sure I completed it eventually but it would have been a lot quicker if it would save it from where I was at the time especially after defeating a group of jackals. For jackals their shields provide protection from human weapons and some protection from plasma weapons and their plasma pistols have a perfect combination of power, firing rate, and range this combined with the fact they where hiding behind rocks makes for one hard thing to overcome. But their shields can't protect them from being run over by a warthog.

But don't you think completing the games on legendary desrves something more than a little stamp of completion. Maybe they could open up a cheat menu or something only after completing the game on all difficulties. I do enjoy the Halo games enough to play them right through on all difficulties but at the end after you've put so much time in, there is not one reward.

If you were offered two paths to take :
1. Landmines set in random positions, the floor covered in glass shards and suicide bombers running at you; more things to consider you are barefoot (don't ask why) and tired and you are coming home from a hard day at work.
2. On this road there are beautiful virgins that want to carry you home.

Hmmm...... let me guess you'd take the road with landmines ,glass shards and suicide bombers just for a challenge.
