Just an idea, do something like Metroid Prime where when it rains rain drops land on your hud.

Yeah. IT would make the game so much more strategic on bigger maps.

Yeah like real time weather. Like it might start raining in the middle of a match and make the ground slipery for warthogs. Perphaps heavy wind blowing grenades and messing up banshee menuvers.

or the temp would effect gameplay. Say if it's 98 degrees out, you wouldn't be able to run foreer, you'd tie out and slow down for a bit. or if it's really cold, your mask would fog up and your visibility goes down a bit unless you take a break for a minute. elites would have some reaction to extreme cold. or wind so when you fire, the bullets are set off and become less accurate. I know, if in snow levels, the warthogs have snow treads.
