Pioneer and Enthusiast for Halo 3.
I've had a similar issue, and I never asked the forum community for answers. I'm glad I never did. These people are here to flame you, and talk non-sense, without giving help.
My cat got a bit excited, as most cats do from time to time. She pulled my disc from my dresser (she jumped) and scratched a critical part of the disc, snapping it almost in half.
As most would not believe this, I never asked the forums for the reasons I said above. She broke my ODST Multiplayer disc, but I still had my Campaign disc. I just use that.
Let me know if you don't have a campaign disc.
