I am an extreme Halo fanatic.
Many times, my friends get together for an all-night LAN party. One time, 4 of a group of 12 or so, stayed up playing Halo non-stop for 12 hours (+ or - 15 min) then woke everybody else up and took time to eat breakfast, then played for another hour, before we had to break for work. I have read all 3 books at least 5 times through (the whole series 5 times), and beat the game approx. 20 times in each difficulty. (SEE, I HAVE THIS REALLY STRONG FEELING TO FILL UP THE BOTTOM ROW, WHERE IT SHOWS THE DIFFICULTY RATING YOU'VE BEAT, AND WE SWITCHED HARD DRIVES 2 TIMES, AND MADE NEW CHARACTERS SEVERAL TIMES, TOO.) On top of all that, I suffer withdrawal symptoms after more than a week of not playing (dreaming of being MC, thinking about it often) and have probably spent more than 500 hours on it each year. An average of 80 minutes each day = say a 1/2 hour each day + LAN parties twice a month. BEAT THAT.
