Halo: Combat Evolved ultra fanboy.

Anybody else tired of reading the white lines of data in Halo 2 multi? This is the area where it says- you killed X, you picked up ammo, Red team has the flag, etc

It should be streamlined instead. I think that your teammates icons should show up on the right side of your HUD, nice and small to save space. Then (assuming they bring back health) each would be surrounded by a colored box telling their health. If they died, then the icon would darken and gray slightly. It would remove the spam of X killed Y stuff on the left side. Also, it should never say X has the flag or Y is arming the bomb, since that should be taken care of in the bottom icons (the yellow and red trianges at the bottom). what I mean is that the bomb icon should turn yellow if the bomb is in the circle and red when it is being armed, not yellow when already armed and red when planted, since that makes the icon worthless to the defense. That would also remove the white lines from the left side. Maybe they could also make a new icon for when you pick up ammo, so that can be removed.

TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK. I'm just trying to streamline everything.

Help a brother out. Click on the referral link, sign up for a fun game, log in once for the next couple of days, then you never have to think about it again!

And yes. I understand how pathetic that is, but nobody reads these things anyway... right?

I personally see no problem with the current system.

Halo: Combat Evolved ultra fanboy.

Ya, but it can be improved. We did not need the icons at the bottom for H2, but they were really good ideas and helpful.

The life and world you see is just a cheery toped and sugar coated version. You know nothing of Hell. Unknown to you and everyone around you is that there is a war going on that you can't see. Now that you know, you are part of it. And if you are going to survive, your going to need to learn to pull the trigger.

I believe it is "If it aint broke, dont fix it", but putting that aside, I think that those changes are good ideas. Sure, this system isnt too bad, but there is always room for improvement.

I quite like the current system. It's WAY better than alot of other systems out there. Like when you kill someone in other games and it pops up right over your damn reticle. That is obnoxious.

Bungie really nailed it as is, much like everything else about Halo 2 multiplayer. It's going to be hard to improve, but I'm sure they are capable.
