You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Active 9/1/11, Heroic 12/25/12

I miss the Bungie Weekly Updates and especially the "Blame Stosh" videos at the end.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

The Bungie podcast.

"We're the Bungie kids, with plasma pistols glowing..."

*snif

It was a simpler time.

I miss the Bungie Podcast and the Weekly Updates.
The podcasts were the best. I love going back and listening to the older episodes!

Spread the love...

I definitely really miss the weekly updates. Maybe Urk should do those for a month just to remember the days.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

It is time for another contest, time to brush up on your pop culture references.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

I think we all miss the weekly update, even if we won't readily admit it.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

When the update was about to come up I'd do the same thing as you, except I always aimed for the first page. I'd scroll halfway through an article, look at a couple words, then comment about how that was my favorite part of the update.

Like a boss.

I really miss the Weekly Update. And all the excitement/movement on the site.

In time. . .

I really really really miss reading about Hump Days. I used to dream as a wee lad what it would be like to get the chance to participate in one of those. :')

The weekly update would have to be what i miss the most.

Brownie lives!

"10000?"

Definitely the Bungie podcast. Those were the days.

I missed these threads, well not the hyper aware versions... But the "where's the weekly update" threads.

I entirely miss doing my usual 3 word smart ass remarks every week, goofing with frankie, shishka, luke, or urk. I'm not much of a serious question dude. Hate to say it, but I don't care a ton about the employees as much as my Bungie pride might figure me to.

  • 08.03.2012 3:01 PM PDT

I miss the Weekly Update so badly. It used to be one of my favorite things about this site.

Put your clothes back on, burrito. Nobody needs that again.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I enjoyed all the discussions that wren't about the lack of discussion.

This thread makes me sad..

I am THUGa, and the last one on Bungie.Net.

"Go and tell the world my story..."~ The Count of Tuscany

To be honest, I've been thinking the same thing for awhile.

I used to be a lot more frequent on this site, mostly with the groups. I miss the weekly updates, the fun events Bungie hosted such as the times where we got to face against them for Recon and steak dinners.

I'm not sure if I'll stay on for very long, but I bet that whatever Bungie has planned in the future will be worth it. It will all be back
