I just wonder if when you guys are making the game, is it just that everything you do that you think is the greatest thing ever. Or do you guys ever even read or listen to the things casual players say?
They dont care what we think, they already have it all planned out.
leave buns alone trhe said they like it. like they liked hearing what u liked about being the arbiter and stuff.
No I just seriously just want to know if they ever do or even consider thinking some of the ideas given out here? Then I mean anything like some weapon or storything or balance the multiplayer someway.

I came across this page a few days ago..Archived Story 7You also have the DVD that shipped with Halo 2. There's no doubt in mind whether or not they read through the criticisms.. You try making a game and ignoring input from the fans. It's like.. Well, it's "probably" like.. Impossible. [Edited on 6/17/2006]

Dude, they are professionals. Which means they know better than the average forum member how to make a game. They hear criticisms, but there are a bunch of more intelligent and coherent reviews of game elements than every other forum post. Basically, they know what people want in general, but in order to make a good game, they don't listen to every single gamer.
Yeah, that is also brought up in the limited edition DVD. I still think Grunts should ride the Elites. Giddyup..
Yes I know that they are pros but even pros do make mistake. Like they did with Halo 2, it was a great game but had som obvious problems.
When you have 20 million people playing your game there's a much more likely chance that they'll find something probably random and almost unthought of to test for compared to when they have perhaps several hundred to a thousand testing it prior to shipping.
The Frozen Minority - The most infamous clan borne from the Seventh Column.
"Our eyes and ears are always open" - Jospeh Staten. They try to extract data about what the fans like and dont like and build gameplay based upon that as well as their own knowledge. There is a reason they have all that data about playlists, gametypes, weapons, maps etc etc. Check the Voting Booth, they are always after constructive critisicm.
