.........with the intention of making it easier for casual players who didn't have Bungie.net accounts to sign up.
One of the survey questions asks "Please verify that we have your correct email address and that it has been validated". How would it be validated for someone who isn't a member of the website? Is an email sent if the address doesn't match any accounts?

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

Is the survey supposed to have my current information visible in it, when I go to edit it? I think it used to but it appears not to anymore.

I tried re-entering all my info and, when I pressed Save and went back into it, it was still blank.
This is actually a feature, not a bug. We changed the survey a few months back to let people fill it out without being signed in, with the intention of making it easier for casual players who didn't have Bungie.net accounts to sign up. The fact that you can't see your previous submission now is an unfortunate byproduct of this change.
Ok, thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't sure if it was something wrong on my end, but now I my my personal info is going to its rightful home.

This also allows us to "accidentally" double register when we really just want to update our information. Hope that isn't a problem. I probably am double registered.

It probably saves the most recent form. That way no matter how many times you fill it in you still only have 1 application. :-)

I recall filling it out ages ago. Are we meant to update it and fill it out more often for a better chance?

Filling it out multiple times won't increase your chances of being selected for the program. As long as it gives an accurate description of your current gaming habits then there's no need to keep filling it out.

:-)

Okay awesome. There should be(or is there) an indicator for if you have filled it out or not?

P.s I hate when people use - in smileys! :)

Ich bin Reptar!

I constantly get calls to my cell phone from Washington. I always ignore the calls. Could they be Bungie calling me to be a beta tester??

The signup is for the Beta program, not for a specific beta test. Volunteers are and will be used for all sorts of things, from surveys to tests at Bungie and elsewhere. Sign up, give us your honest answers, and we'll contact you when we need you.
But I don't want to be in the beta. I wanted to be in the alpha!
Alpha seems better than the beta!
