But they do interact with Bungie and Microsoft.
For example Bungie liscensed Rooster Teeth(the makers of Red vs Blue) the Halo 1 and 2 engine to make thier videos. They didn't even charge them money for it.
You don't know that, they have a special arrangement with Bungie and Microsoft, and I don't think they have ever disclosed exactly what it entails.
Also there is now a mini Red vs Blue series running on Xbox live Market Place that you can download for free. So they obviously combine thier efforts on a fairly regular basis.
Roosterteeth likes doing that sort of stuff, hell anybody would.
And I'm sure that Rooster Teeth would jump headf over heels at the chance to get that kind of publicity.
I take it you aren't a member of their forums? Trust me, they don't need publicity.
So I think that it is very possible that that this could happen. And I sure as hell hope that they do.
I'm with Squee on this. I think it's a bad idea. Red vs Blue may make it onto the Special Features disc (if there is one this time) like they did for Halo 2, but I don't think even they would want to be a reward in the game. They want more Bungie goodness just like we do. Remember, they're still fans, very very lucky fans.
If anything, it should be a short scene like the Legendary ending in Halo, or something cool like the location of an easter egg such as the piano solo on AotCR.
