I have forgot my windows live ID password and i used a fake email so heres a link to my REAL player My Spartan

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Reach, nor do I dislike it, in my opinion it's a mixed bag. But still Halo 3 is still out there, which is a superior game. I think that Halo Reach focused too much on competition it's now always aggressive. I remember Halo 3 and how it was ALWAYS fun. also Reach's maps SUCK compared to Halo 3's fantastic maps! (Come on 343, we need some Halo 3 remakes!) but why are we still here?

Well then thats your opinion. I stated mine and you can do the same. Just please don't criticize me over a small opinion I still like Reach and I play it a lot but It just dose'nt have the magic that Halo 3 had.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

Well that's just because children can't handle facts when they don't agree with their own distorted view of the world. You'll all grow out of it, don't worry. Then someday you'll be able to read text longer than a sentence.

I'd love to hear your explanation as to why this game is so "competitive" then.

#rubberdingirapids

The only real competitive element in this game is to boost your K/D.

Who needs to win in Reach when you get rewarded for doing just about anything?

Yeah, I didn't think you'd be able to pull an explanation like that out of your ass anyway.

Still not seeing an explanation that makes you look like any less of an idiot.

Yawn. I was the one that asked you to explain yourself in the first place. I thought you could do better than this.

I seem to remember that from when I had my original account, but now he just antagonizes people pretending to be smarter than them (as demonstrated ITT) when he's actually just a massive pseudo-intellectual.

I just don't take anything he posts seriously anymore.

The reason I say that it is too competitive is that, if you want to have fun, than you HAVE to go to matchmaking. I say this because I don't think that playing with friends on custom games or forge just is not what it was. Halo 3 was fantastic me and my friends used to always get on that and play something on custom games and forge.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

Because you don't take me seriously enough.
(actually, the seeds of my trolling have bore some fruit)

The "QUIT BAN".

If you need any more explanation than that, then get lost.

But matchmaking isn't really competitive. It's all social. You don't match any competition, and the gameplay itself in default Reach isn't competitive.

Do you actually beleive that Ruckus? That it's all social?

Then why do people still play competitively?
Even when the situation doesn't call for it?

Refer back to my previous thread that recently banned me. About teams of tryhards who's sole purpose is to make the other team quit the match. Then cry about people quitting on them.

Competition is in the Eye of the Beholder.
And you're a damn fool if you think people aren't trying to force you to play at a competitive level every damn time you press that matchmaking button. I don't care what playlist it is. Refer back to competitives crying about having to start and finish a game with the same exact people on both teams to feel a sense of accomplishment.

If I can't come and go as I please within any particular game, it's not casual. NOT BY A LONG SHOT!

See dedicated servers. You know those things that host like 64 players at a time and let you come and go as you please, because noone gives a -blam!- because you're just one little insignificant peice of cannon fodder.

Now look at Halo. And you're telling me that what Halo provides is casual? You're -blam!- high!
