I think our anger would be better vented towards microsoft, for putting bungie under harsh time regiments. Seriousley, I would have liked a better feel of "oh -blam!-, WAR on earth." Not, "oh -blam!-, a covenant ship wiht a prophet!" But it was still fun. But i think secrecy is the better pat of valor for Halo 3... And more time... If they can at least give us the feeling of coming to an ongoing battle, a real nitty gritty crusade where each side has realistic and apparent strategies and failures and what have you, I will be fullfilled. The tent, combined with the huge plasma cannon(?) being bombed by the fihgters, just the mechanics of the entire situation gave the feel of an actual friggin battle going on. With halo 2 it was just... It felt weird. Of course it was a battle in its own right but, it felt sparse, like it lacked meat. You didn't feel like you were stuck in with the marines, so to speak. You landed, and chased after a giant Cockroach (no no, i t was a cool mech, i kid). Fun as it was, I want to feel like MC is in the middle of an actual conclict where ground is being gained and lost... Perhaps it's just me, but I really didn't get that sense from Halo 2...
