> he got his team and himself captured by brutes right at the start of the game.
He was trying to hold an extraction point. Then later, he was being boxed in.
> He failed to secure the bomb in Crows nest,
At least he left his mark. His cigar was still there. He left an imprint of his awesomeness right under the Covie noses.
> he then again failed to deactivate the shields in the covenant and got captured again.
The absence of dead Brutes leads me to believe that no marine even reached the tower's door. It's likely the Pelican pilot miscalculated during the drop off, sending dozens of marines plummeting to their deaths, with only Johnson managing to survive but being knocked unconscious. The Brutes carried a few marines and their weapons over to the door (which is why when you move them and come back from the upper floor, they'll be back in the same place) so they could take credit for these embarrassing deaths. As for the Pelican pilot, well he was obviously drunk so he probably drove into the waters and drowned.
> Miranda was killed trying to save him.
She was killed trying to stop the Halo rings from firing and was going to kill him to prevent Truth from accessing the Ark.
> And in the level Halo he killed me multiple times while watching my back with the laser >.>
Blame Bungie for giving power weapons to marines.
Besides, I've never been hit by Johnson. Mainly because I never play the level as intended. Playing any Halo game after CE like it's supposed to be played is asking to be punished, brutalized, and screwed over.
> I don't know why he is that great.
Don't let them hear that!
