For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

No, but I can grow a beard now!

"10000?"

Definitely.

Just some updates to the site, mainly. Besides that the only things that have really changed for me are the members who post and decide to stick around.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

In fact this is what Bungie.net looked life a couple of days after I joined.
Just curious, what made you join Bungie.net right after the release of Halo 2? I had a ton of games for my original Xbox (including Halo 2) but I never thought of going to their developer's website just to check it out.

The Halo 2 manual specifically mentioned joining Bungie.net to see stats and join in with the community. Seemed like a good idea considering how much I enjoyed Halo: Ce and Halo 2.
I guess I never noticed that in the manual. Thanks for the reply.

I miss the Forge World Background. The current "See You Starside" space background is very appropriate to the darkness but colorful backgrounds are almost always more appealing.

Haha... Bungie.net has changed so many times it's hard to keep count!

Do you mean since I've first joined Bungie.net? Yes, but there's too much to list as far as what has changed over the four years that I've been here.

Yes. Quite a bit.

ROFL

Lol, nope its pretty much been the same for years as I remember. The only obvious transition is the focus on the most recent halo.

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

Technically, yes. The community hasn't changed a bit, however. There are still the seasoned vets and the newcomers. Groups are less active, but I think that's a result of Reach sucking and Bungie not having any kind of information out at all.

Once Bungie starts talking, everything here will pick up.

Bungie.net is like ebb and flow.

  • 08.08.2012 10:42 AM PDT

There has been a few facelifts and some added options, not too much. There has been many different "phases" though.

We aren't here to ruin your experience (Well Qbix is).

Yes it has.

  • 08.08.2012 10:54 AM PDT

Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because Bungie kicks ass.

Meh, more or less. But the community's core attributes are still present. People come and go, however they don't impact the overall feel around here.
