I just bought my own computer
i was wondering how can i record of my xbox 360 on to my computer
can someone give me a detailed explanation

also i can only have internet on one console at a time in my room for now im hoping that is not a problem

Get a program that records tv on your computer. Then feed the stuff from your xbox in as if it's tv stuff. That could work but I have no experience in the field.

what is an example of that kind of program and where can i get it
how do i link my 360 with ym comp
besides media b/c that doesnt work with recording i dont think

My friend has a cable that links his tv to his pc. And recordin shouldn't be too difficult from there. Ur best bet is to go to a computer or electronic shop and ask for the wire, plus they'd be better at answerin your questions.

You'd need a capture card/box if you're talking about recording game clips to your computer. Basiccaly, the cables that would go into your TV, instead go into a box or a PCI card in your computer, and then there are cables extending from the card/box which then plugs into the TV. So what the box does is sends the same signal to the "out" ports so the TV can still get the signal, but it also routes the sound and video to your computer, and to save it you need video editing software such as Pinnacle Studio 9 or Adobe Premiere Elements/Pro.

This is the wrong forum, but what you need is called a capture card. I belive you can buy them at best buy or radio shack.
