That would ruin the tactics of the game... Granted, you could argue that it would increase the level of complexity, but that's a mistaken thought, because the game would be complex in a needlessly confusing way. Fun comes from tactics, right? You go in, you want to kill the other guy, and you do so in a militaristic fashion or however you do your killing. Frankly, i'm not against time bombs larger than grenades in general, they just wouldn't fit in Halo... It's about real time killfests... As fun and interesting as time bombs sound, wouldn't people just cut off all known passes to their bases, and camp themselves, rendering your "kill campers with a jeep" point useless? If Halo were like Battlefield, I'd practically be expecing such a weapon, because not every playable character would have it, and the game is objective based. You're trying to take points and defend them, not plainly kill the others. Now of course theres that territories game type and capture the flag, but Halo lacks a diversity of classes with specific roles. See if it were battlefield, you could even out the guy who has this huge bomb. But in Halo, every weapon is available to you, throwing off the balance of the game. I'm not into another super weaopn... Not to mention one that, in your view, sounds like it would be the soul objective for all games, "dude go get the bomb" and then they send poor Jimmy to suicde himself over and over again like some disposable sword... I mean come on, the sword is bad enough as it is. Well not bad but it's a large part of any map it's on. People need to know if your team has it, and if not, where is it. So all I'm saying, is unless Halo 3 multiplayer is completely revamped, I don't thin adding such a bomb would be a good idea.
EDIT: Promote war and gang warefare? What in sam hill is wring with you boi? Promote infers that hte product was created for the intent of portryaing said events in a positive light, or to get people to join in on those occurances. Now, tell me specifically which game was made as a recruitment (besides Americas army, but its one game, made BY the army so what do you expect) tool for Gangs or Wars?
