Theory #1
Ok, we all know that the Halo rings (when activated) are meant to starve the flood, and destroy all senteint life in the galaxy (obviously), which means that any race capable of interstellar travel, or technology that could potientaily help the flood in their conquest, but why weren't we affected by the rings activation millions of years ago, well simply put, we weren't sentient, we were living in caves at the time, so we weren't affected by the rings activation, but in 2552, we were sentient, until we met the Covenant, the Covenant reduced our civilization to ruins, and brought our kind to the brink of extinction, but the Halo 3 Announcement Trailer gave me a clue, we are no longer sentient, which means it won't matter if the rings activate, because we are no longer sentient as we once were, so we won't be wiped out when the ring activates, the only races that will be wiped out are: The Covenant, and the Flood, why the Flood you ask? Cause the Flood now inhabit High Charity, which is an incredably advanced peice of tech, so now the Flood are sentient, they will be wiped out along with the Covenant, cause the rings were originally intended to starve the Flood, but now that they are sentient, they will be wiped out, cause notice in the Announcement Trailer, when the Ark was being activated, if you look at the bottom of the screen were the MC is, he almost seems, calm, confident.
Look up the meaning of sentient, anything sustaining the flood, do flood talk to each other and use compuiters? They're pretty stupid if you look at it, so they don't need smart hosts.
Oh, and by the way, the Halo's where activated before life on earth even existed, so what are you on about again?
But gravemind isn't stupid, he knew how to fly In Amber Clad, and certain Flood types know how to fly pelicans, and in Halo 1 the Flood even tried to repair Truth and Rconciliation.
yeah but still your "theory" still makes no damn sense.....sorry! better luck next time
