Ok I was playing the ned of Halo 2 today and i noticed in the end where the monitor is explaining the whole Halo system to Keyes, Johnson, and the Arbiter that when the monitor brings up the grid to all the Halos there are 4 of the Halos that are smaller and green on the grid and 3 of them are larger and blue on the grid, with the largest one in the center of the 3. This could mean that there is 1 large, kind of command Halo and 2 somewhat command type and 4 regular old Halos-You decide. sprry if this has already been discussed.

Facts are the enemy of tru7h....

Personally I've always believed that it was significant. I think that the rings are in fact different sizes and fit into one another in the kinda gyroscopic way you see at the end of Halo 2. I think that the rings bend space so that the rings act in unison, at the same point in space, increasing their range beyond each individual ring can cover.

This is a good observation. It does look like they fit into one another. Now what they do combined, who knows!
