Are you referring to your not so funny thread?

This thread.
Like I told CrazzySnipe no I wasn't referring to that thread. I wasn't referring to any specific thread at all, just a general statement. BUT you can use that thread as an example if you wish.

I ♥ Bungie!

Sometimes, I don't see alot of people being too serious these days.

Half of what I say is true. The other half are also lies.

Angry Angry Angry!!! Opinions=facts when they're my opinions, opinions=poop when they are yours. Your not good enough to be listened to.

I frequent the game forums, so I may be biased in some way, but that may answer your question.

Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.
Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar.
tenn' Ambar-metta!

Yeah, around 25% of the people take it too seriously, but that's natural on the internet, I guess.

[Announcement Trailer] Halo: Forerunner

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

It's hard to take anything on this website too seriously when you have to see threads like these on a daily basis.

Most of the community seems to be laid back and fun, but there are a few people that seem to take everything very seriously.

Imagine how boring this place would be if say, some random 15 year old didn't try to convince large groups of people that he was actually a game developer and had secrets from behind the scenes of Halo 4. I personally thank those types of users.

Meh.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, I think people are looking into things that they usually wouldn't -like site features- and are over-analyzing it. In turn it just results in another boring conversation with people writing too much for something with a simple answer.

I try to make a joke every once in a while. Weather it's embedded in one of my serious posts, or just a simple comment on its own.

Your poll is too serious... Needs a fun option.

Stuff like this. :)

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

The bad jokes should tell you something.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

Nope. Nobody is too serious. Everyone is too lackadaisical. Be more grim.

A few do, but it's nothing to worry about.

  • 08.09.2012 9:50 PM PDT

Tin shacks and catfish bones.

How serious are you about asking if anyone takes things too serious? I ask because I'm not sure if you're serious.
