The Chief taking his helmet off in one of the missions only to find it's a female with a device in the helmet that deepens the voice.

Sexiest twist ever.

I run Skirmish!!!

if it had glitches like halo 2 where you could bounce out of the levels. I spent so many hours in halo 2 doing that

This is a Reach account that I created the day they announced his name in a bnet weekly update. Any stats regarding ODST or Halo 3 are irrelevant. Also, Halo CE master race. Halo 1 > other halo games > other games.

Account Status: Silver :(

There are plenty of super jumps in Halo 3. Just search YouTube.

Guardian Forrest level

^^That would be awesome! As well as more glitches, awesome city exploration (Like in Outskirts in Halo 2). Also, mod support for forge. UT3 on PS3 had this, and I love building things and playing in the Halo 3 engine!
And moar cowbell!!

-longer checkpoint delaying. That is one thing Reach has an advantage over

-more ways to delay a checkpoint (besides enemy threat). In H3, ODST, and Reach, you can only delay by jumping. In H2, you can delay by meleeing and jumping. And in CE, there are many ways to delay

-revert to second last checkpoint as an option. So far, it's only possible by dying 5 times fast. This is not only annoying (when I was looking for the right position for launching in a Wraith using a Scarab's leg, I often got reverted before I could determine if it was correct) but it's also stupid (H2 added it but newer Halo games didn't do anything about it)

-no killing off AI. The game screwed my hard work collecting 19 Brutes, killing all but 4. On The Storm, I had a lot of Covies but after destroying the AA gun, the game kills them all off. Finally, on the last level, I can't stick around with the Final Grunt or I get killed right on the spot

-no missile Pelican at the end of Sierra 117. I'd much rather have a couple of destructible Hornets. After enemies are all dead, then the Pelican could arrive

-cut levels Guardian Forest and The Lost City
-invisible barriers pushed far back
-less teleporting Arbiter around. I don't need his help 24/7
-better Guilty Spark fight
-better AA Wraith
-better Flood
-half Flood (Flood pretending to be the host by maintaining host's appearances)
-more Elite ranks and appearances
-optional 2nd tower objective on The Covenant: kill the Covie pursuers. I'd like to see Arby and his Elites retreating out of the tower and there being a huge number of Covies in there (I already know that it's just an empty room right now but just imagine if it was like the 1st and 3rd tower)
-H2 boarding (getting out while boarded)
-Sputnik, Envy, Angry, H2 Black Eye skulls, more silver skulls, gold skulls that actually improve the AI
-possible to save: the marines in the hog on Crow's Nest, marines in the Crow's Nest barracks (including the ones that are found dead), the marines that get ambushed on Floodgate, the gauss hog driver on The Ark, Johnson on the last level

Reach campaign kept my interest for only 1 week. H3 campaign kept my interest for 5+ years and it still does. I just can't stand it due to the above inconveniences and disappointments. Even if I could tolerate it, the summer weather makes turning on the Xbox 360 unbearable. I'd really like to see H3 for PC. It would make it so much more tolerable.

-Wish you could save the grunt. MC's boots do need a little polishing...

-I did not know that there were specific levels mentioned.

- Indeed. They might know how to operate the soda machine in the Rec Room.

-if only there was a Banshee on that level. I brought 2 Grunts, 2 Elites, and the Heretic boss on H2 mission The Arbiter to various places using a Banshee, not to mention I had about 2-3 Heretic controlled Banshees flying around. The one thing that makes H3's hog run less exciting is the lack of Banshees. Imagine being chased by Banshees. That'd be exciting!

-Here's the Halopedian article

-that reminds me. I'd like to have saved that rooster teeth marine who got locked out. IIRC, he's a living statue (you can't push him anywhere). :/

Halo multiplayer sucks!

Based on campaigns

Halo 2 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo 3 > Reach/CE tied

First if all, not as many missions set in Africa. Half of Halo 3 is heading towards the Ark through Kenya. If you ask me, that should be in maybe the second or third mission.

More elite allies. They should be in the game earlier, maybe even the first mission.

Grunt and hunter allies. We were shown in Halo 2 that most of the grunts and hunters sided with the elites. This should have been evident in Halo 3.

Brutes shouldn't have been so easy to kill. They should have stayed similar to the Halo 2 brutes.

No drones

Brute plasma rifle

Keeping Sergeant Major Johnson alive. Other than that it was great.

According to the Bestiarum, the Unggoy were too indecisive to continue the rebellion and the true political motivation of the Mgalekgolo, if any, remained a mystery.

The hunters always had great respect for the elites. In fact, the elites were th only covenant race the hunters respected, probably even above the prophets. I heard somewhere that the prophets threatened to glass the hunters home planet f they didn't join the covenant, so they probably have some resentment for the prophets. So when the elites were being persecuted, the hunters took their side. I can imagine it would be an outrage to them.

And I guess I can believe that about the grunts, but I heard somewhere that there were some separatist grunts at the time of Halo 3.

Real account.

Join me as we make new friends from different communities!

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

I changed my mind. Sliding Ghost needs a higher KD before he suggests completely remaking a game. /thread

I remember in a ViDoc that Bungie said that allied grunts and Mgalekgolo would confuse new players to the franshise. I refuse to believe ALL unggoys and hunters were continually allied to the loyalists, there still may have been some unmentioned splinter groups.
