Subject: A general rule of thumb in Reach

The bigger a player's armor is, the worse said player is at the game.

Before every game I look at people's armor, and I can pretty confidently identify who is going to be good at the game and who is going to be bad.

Always up for REACH customs!

Small armor actually has a smaller hitbox. I've tested this, it's true. What my Spartan lacks in intimidating appearance she makes up for by catching fewer bullets. http://i.imgur.com/4o7Xk.png

Sounds like a logical fallacy.

Too bad it's not true.

I would love to agree that players donning smaller armor are superior, as I basically use all default. But that's certainly not the case. I've played people who tank it that know how to fight, I've certainly played people who go in all default that are new to the game, and the other way around.

Size doesn't matter, it's how you use it. :D

And no, the hitbox doesn't change for different armor sets or gender settings. Although different armor silhouettes might slightly alter the confidence your enemy has in hitting you.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

The armor is for aesthetic purposes, and does not help or hurt you in any way.

It is true. I tested it by starting a game where there was only one respawn point, myself, and two other players.

Player A was female and had skinny armor and a robotic arm like mine. Player B was male and had the biggest bulkiest shoulders in the armory.

Player B killed himself and respawned on the respawn point and didn't move. I aimed my Focus Rifle (for no aim assist) at the outermost point on his shoulder armor, fired, and hit him. Then he walked away and killed Player A who respawned in the same spot and didn't move. I DID NOT MOVE MY RETICLE and I was pointing at the same exact spot relative to where I was pointing at Player B, I fired, and the beam went right past him because there was nothing there.

No -blam!-. I'm just saying that whenever I play against people with Security shoulders, the Collar/Grenadier chest, and the security helmet, they generally suck at the game and go negative. It's just something I've noticed. Obviously the armor itself isn't the reason they don't play as well.

Honestly, this is a good cover up for all the idiots who won't know its a cover up .

That makes no sense. They'll have to be at least Legend iirc to get those pieces, which means that playtime has to be a factor. Sure, they'll be a few 6 year olds who afk'd in FF, but for the most part, people who have played the game long enough to get those pieces of armor should be, SHOULD BE, decent at the game.

Time played has nothing to do with skill level. This is Reach, literally 80% of the population is retarded and no amount of playtime will ever make them decent at the game, partly because they just don't care. They enjoy jetpacking straight into the air spamming their AR.

Repeat my experiment. The difference in hitboxes is tiny, but you'll see it exists.

The 343 forums suck. They're full of retarded kids and mods who got butthurt in the B.net forums for being told that they're bad.

Here's the real rule:

Players that care about their armor most likely suck at the game.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

Hitboxes are identical for all players no mater the gender or armor.

You do realize the small amount of extra hit box will never make a difference 99.99% of the time.
The only true difference in hit box that makes a differences is elites. And even then I'd argue that a good majority of the time it wouldn't make much of a difference at all.
