Subject: A general rule of thumb in Reach

~:O>~~

I tried the same 'experiement' and the bullet in fact passed right through the armor without doing any damage.

Although enabling Armor effects/Gold visor/ bright colors and larger armor does have an effect on how easily the enemy can spot and apprehend your position on their screen... making kills easier.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

You mean the bullet flew right past the Spartan with the less bulky armor like what I described?

How do we have to tell you that you're wrong and your "test" is wrong as well.
Hitboxes are IDENTICAL for all players across the game, at least for spartans.

Try it for yourself. Why would I be making this up?

Bungie says "everybody has same hitboxes".
Random on forum says "armor changes hitboxes"

I'm gona side with Bungie and simply dismiss your "experiment" and call it "lack of game information".

Bungie also said Armor Lock would be fun.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

Rule of thumb is that people that correlate skill with armor are bad.

Fun = subjective
Game programming != not subjective.

How about black screens? How about Forge glitches? How about Covenant vehicles doing the light speed launch? Reach's programming is not perfect.
