I would just like to start off by saying I realize that Bungie will probably not use this post in any way in determining the release date of Halo 3......but I have to try.

To start off, I would just like to say that I have enjoyed both Halos. I already plan to take a week off from work starting on the release date of Halo 3 so I can enjoy the whole game in one sitting.....lol. However, most information that I have read implies that Halo 3 will be released somewhere near late summer/early fall of 2007. This is where my problem comes in.

I am engaged to my girlfriend of 4 1/2 years. I look forward to spending a lifetime with her. However, we both LOVE the Halo series, and can't wait to play it at the earliest second possible.

Before the announcement of Halo 3 was made, we had booked our wedding date to be 9/8/2007. We have everything booked and paid for. This means that we cannot change the date without losing TONS of cash. If Halo 3 is released within a couple weeks before or after this date, it could really create a conflict of interest........lol. We both love all types of gaming, and as a guy, it's hard to find a hot chick who loves video games. We have come to terms with the fact that our A.D.D., combined with our love for Halo, could make us accidently late for our own wedding. So, if you could release Halo 3 in early August, or in October, that would be awesome. If you help, I promise to spraypaint the number "7" and a big picture of Mister Chief on Sony's headquarters right before the release of PS3.

Of course I love her. And the chances of me missing my wedding is 1,000,000,000,000,000 to 1. However, it would make things better so we could both enjoy the game together, like we always do. Also, please try to find humor in my post. If you take everything so seriously, your life will be a waste of bandwith.

No.

If you truley love your future wife, you won't risk your chances with her by playing a video game.

This thread is a waste of bandwith.

I agree, sorry buddy but thats pretty darn sad if your future wife would leave you, or you her for some game.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize that what you want is much more important than what Bungie needs to finish the game. We all WANT Halo 3 to come soon, but some of us have learned to live with the fact that it might not.

Ok, of course Bungie will agree to your answer. They will change the release date for two people, because after all, you people are much more important than us.

Dumbass.

And if you're making a thread about changing the release date of a highly anticipated product for your selfish personal reasons, and you're serious.......you should consider killing yourself.

Ugh, I make a little joke about my wedding, with my fiance sitting right next to me laughing, and look at this stuff. I guess the Zanzibar forum is coming back in style.

And by the way, this entire forum is full of people saying what they want with Halo 3. Weapons this, Online Co-Op that. I am just asking for something else in a joking manner. This is such a buzzkill.......lol.

No, just rather you don't know you're being stupid and selfish. It would be great if Halo 3 came out tomorow, but it's not going to. I can live with that. The wishes of two do not outweigh the needs of a massive company.
