No wait, that's a terrible idea. I'm not going into a freaking ball.
What if the inside of the pokeball looked like this?

OT: I would carry on a regular conversation with them like usual. They're normal people like everyone else.

No they're not I would sit there like hurr durr Forum Ninja durrrrrrrrr.

The name's Ian, Game Designer at Whisper Game Studios, very off-and-on Bungie.net visitor and avid Bungie fan overall. Message me if you wish.

I met Hao Chen, Joe Venzon and Natalya Tatarchuk this past week. With Hao I just gave him a big "Thank you for making Halo look so good" but since he was in a rush I couldn't exactly say much else to him. When I met Joe, we were coincidentally sitting next to each other prior to a course at Siggraph and I was talking to a guy next to me about how much I want to work at Bungie in the future and he turned and started talking about how he works there. It took me a bit but I eventually remembered who he was and we were just chatting before the talk started. With Natalya, I was just talking to her about something Hao said to me before he left and it was a good talk. Seeing as I'm not looking to be (at the moment at least) a graphics engineer, these guys didn't exactly have tips for me, but they were willing to talk to me and help as much as they could so that was nice.

The folks at Bungie are always great to talk to.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Active 9/1/11, Heroic 12/25/12

I would hand them a note with a picture of a bunch of blurred out people and text at the bottom that reads "We know". Then I would simply walk away.

  • 08.11.2012 10:25 AM PDT

I'd hold one of these weird things called a conversation.

Meepzoid

Any mods who ever banned me, I would hit them with a hammer and say, "Who's got the ban hammer now?"

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

OTK

I need your clothes, your boots and your mobility scooter

I would try to butt secks

or just idk :|

I don't think i'd treat a ninja any differently to a member but i might ask an employee a few things. No idea though, not something i'd plan, just as things happen.

Spread the love...

If I meet any Employees and or Ninjas I will do these things in random order:

1) High-five him
2) Ask for an autograph
3) Take a pictue
4) High-five him again
5) [Only Applies To True Underdog] Slap him

Young Grasshopper of The Year: ChorrizoTapatio 2012

A little bit of sausage, a little bit of hot sauce, a whole lot of awesome. Have a question? Ask me!
Chapter

I'm actually not sure what I would say to them...probably something stupid.

  • 08.11.2012 11:35 AM PDT

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I'd try to get a picture/autograph, and just talk to them for a while.

"The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit,
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it."
-Omar Khayyám-

I would ask for a minute of their time to talk about random things and then ask if they have time to play a game of MTG and then proceed to play them.

If anybody is interested I run several decks: Mono-red Aggro(my pride and joy), a red/white aggro-control, a jund-control, a jund, a Jace deck, a Red/White/Blue control, a mono-blue control, and a blue/white control. It's a pick your poison style I love with having multiple decks.

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

Depends. If it was a mod, I'd probably buy them a beer.

Employee, I don't know, get a picture or something.

Positive vibes.

Generally when I encounter a familiar face on the street I initiate a conversation with them; ask them how they have been, and how they are doing; what they are up to, and so on - then again, I have never actually met anyone (except for one person) on this website in person, so I can't say I would even recognize them. :|

I assume you were at Siggraph? I recall most of the Graphics Engineers being out for that.

We aren't here to ruin your experience (Well Qbix is).

I would probably just take pictures or something. I honestly wouldn't have anything in common that we could talk with :/

I'm sure the mods are constantly getting harassed by the beautiful women chasing after them. Think about it, they have the ultimate pick-up line.

"Hey, I'm a Bungie.net Moderator."

Works better on their moms.

Did the kid ever find out his mom hooked up with a mod anyway?

  • 08.11.2012 1:06 PM PDT

I'd like to chat with True Underdog. I think we'd have enough to talk about to keep a decent conversation going for a little while. I discovered that we graduated from the same University just a year apart... I would have loved to have met him on campus.
