When you wear red though you're like a human target, easy prey for snipers to just pick off...
How is wearing Red and getting sniped any different than getting sniped while wearing any other color? Ok, first of all, the lighting in Halo's multiplayer stages isn't that great. You can't hide in shadows while wearing black. There parts of theblack armor that can still be seen very easily. The only way you can effectively hide is to use camo. Even that wont work with the sniper rifle because you can still see the ripple effect as the character moves. You're making Halo's multiplayer mode sound more hardcore than it really is. There's no way to hide from snipers other than hiding behind something or wearing camo, and like I said, camo is just as bad when you're being sniped as it is without camo, because the sniper rifle's 10x magnification let's you see the ripple, even while the person in camo is standing idle. On top of that, even when you're "blending in with the shadows" or in camo, your targeting reticle turns red and you will see your target that way. A lot of good blending in the shadows with black armor did you, let me tell you.
Armor color has no effect on Halo at all. It's pretty much there for identifying teams and personalizing your Multiplayer character. It doesn't help you blend in with your surroundings.
