Subject: describe the day of halo 3 came out

I changed usernames to match my gamertag. My original account, wambo114, was created when I got xbox live. I'm a 2007 kid really!

For me, playing on XBL was the best decision of my life. ...........That's really sad, huh?

Well, I've met some pretty cool people I never would have so it's not all bad. I might in a better academic situation if I hadn't had though!

Halo PC Name: x7R0LLF4CEx, Gamertag, x7R0LLF4CE FTWx

It was my birthday, and back then I was a...ah...nintendo kid, so I was probably playing some dumb game I got for my birthday. My head is on straight now, don't worry.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

Around 11:30 p.m pst September 24th I left the apt on my longboard across the I-5 Bridge from Vancouver WA to Jantzen Beach OR to the Circut City "before they closed there doors for good" and picked up my standard edition pre-ordered copy of Halo 3. Then i longboarded back to the apt and then beat the Campaign on Heroic in a few hours, Legendary only took a little over 3 hours. I did'nt get on live till a few days later. However i did have Crackdown in May of either 2006 or 07 for the Halo 3 Beta.

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

I was so excited. I'd sat on that Halo 2 cliffhanger for years, and it was the day to play Halo 3.

QFT

All honors, gifted student until 10th grade. In 9th grade I had to teach a 50 minute class. I got a 98% and don't believe I stuttered once (at least not poorly and noticeable). Now, I can't even get a sentence out without pausing or filling it with an um or em. I literally feel like xbox live gave me ADD.

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

Crackdown: the crumby game no one actually wanted, and everyone just bought it for the Halo 3 beta, then got rid of it after :P

I had my Legendary Edition that I picked up at midnight, a brand new set of 5.1 Logitech speakers I bought a couple of weeks before release, and a VGA cable I bought one week before. I was a little upset that I wasn't able to get a widescreen monitor in time and only had my 5:4 at the time. The FOV felt really narrow throughout Sierra 117, but it was so weird finally getting to play Halo 3.

5 minutes into Rat's Nest, my buddy called saying he bought Halo 3 from Walmart the minute it opened, which confused me as he didn't have a 360 - in which I found out that his reason for calling was to have me go with him to buy one. I really hated having my session interrupted as I wanted to play it badly, and uninterrupted. The tradeoff in doing so was that I finally convinced him to let me borrow his monitor. His Xbox was dead from the get go, so we had to go trade it in. More precious time being wasted.

When I finally got home and hooked up the monitor, the game was instantly more fun. I was glad that once Tsavo Highway started up, enjoying that big desert and bright blue sky was all the more fun thanks to the wide aspect ratio. The cutscenes were much more enjoyable.

When the credits rolled, I sat there thrilled over what I had experienced, but was kinda sad that not only was the trilogy over, but that once again we were taken away from Earth and from its battles that weren't all what I expected them to be.
