Swag punks, fuck off!

Because kids, yes "kids" play Bungie games too, regaurdless if it's rated M and they enjoy these forums too. I think we don't allow profanity because of them, and the fact that trolls would have a big advantage.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

What does swearing have anything to do with adult-ratings? If anything, swearing cause one can is more of a kid thing to do anyways.

evilcam brings up a valid point. There are pros and cons but I personally do not have a problem with the current system.

Joe Staten (boy I hope I remember this right....) said a while after Halo 1 came out that he did not think Halo would have received an M rating if it had been released before the 9/11/01 terrorist attack.

There are shooting games like Fracture that receive Teen ratings and Halo is no worse than they are.

Lastly, curse words are not necessary to discuss the wonder of Halo.

This is a red herring.

You basically answered the question yourself. The game is rated M, not the website. There is a difference.
