After very careful consideration ive decided on the DS because it has online gameplay similar to xbox live, its gonna have awesome games, and its graphics are nearly the same as gamecube's.

I'm used to Nintendo's quality with their handhelds, while Sony is unproven in this market. I don't take chances, I go with what I know will be good- the DS.

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

Yeah, and those discs are going to last so much longer than the cartriges! And the folding design? Who cares? It's not like the screen will get scratched or anything... And what about that four hour battery life, eh? Yep, the PSP will kick the DSes behind. Oh yeah, and since it costs 150 dollars more it has to be better quality. Forget about Sony's hardware history. That's all in the past now.

Guess which I voted for.

DS!!! I saw both at E3. The PSP just didn't show me anything new. I don't want to play the same games I've already played on the PS ONE!!! Whats the point. Theres almost no innovation.

PSP > DS in every regard. Better graphics than PS1, better media, better MP3 support, no f***ing stylus (WTF was Nintendo thinking?! You ever try working with a stylus on a crowded subway car?!), Advent Children, Metal Gear Ac!d, Coded Arms... The list goes on. Oh yea, and the screen is a lot bigger and much higher resolution than the only useful one on the DS.

So while all you fools are buying two-screen SPs and making your futile attempts to control Samus with a stylus I'll be killin' terrorists on a true next-gen handheld.

Good luck finding games for this oh-so-superior PSP! And here's a little Nintendo history: Almost all the handheld competition Nintendo has faced has created higher resolution and better screens, et cetera. They were also much more expensive. Nintendo made something that was simple, yet usable, got a ton of fun, quality games for the handheld, and marketed it at a cheaper price. And guess which one was bought more? Yeah, the one most of you say is a kiddie game company. And I definitley know I'll be "futiley" purchasing a DS. Hahaha, put that one in your pipe and smoke it, sonny!

Sony never has any new innovations. But then again, neither does Microsoft.

1) They turned Metal Gear Acid into a card game.
2) I think I got my facts wrong with the four hour battery life. I looked around a bit and found two as the most common number.
3) Good luck controlling all of those wonderful first person shooters with that miniscule analog stick.
4) You have $150 to waste? Then you should probably have $150 more so you can get both.
5) It is going to cost quite a bit to make games for the PSP vs. the DS. Which is why nearly every game you are going to get will be a port from the PS2. And why would you want to play all of those on a handheld screen if you could play it on your plasma at home?
6) The two screens on the DS can work together to make one image. Which could theoretically make it larger than the PSP screen.

I was kidding. Joking. Being sarcastic. If you think about what I said, all of those things are bad things about the PSP. I voted DS, and think that Gamecube is better than the PS2 as well. How in hell did it manage to outsell everything so frickin bad? Must be all of those rabid Final Fantasy fans...
