Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

Need some help with the Challenge? I cannot guarantee that it will come, but keep an eye out for TheMisssingLink. Perhaps he will take pity on you if your attempts be noble.

The title of this puzzle is "The Power of Seven." Therein lies the only clue I will provide.

Could you at least tell us what form the answer should be in?

  • 08.17.2012 4:25 PM PDT

I run Skirmish!!!

just looking at the puzzle gives me a headache

The answer isn't "Your Mom". Maybe Your Mom is the question though. There's a thought.

Once you unlock all the pieces of this guy, the answer should be plain as day.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I'll help someone solve it for half the prize. :D

/jk I have no idea how to approach this

I won't put any real effort into this because I know someone will figure it out before me, but I will help people in solving it.

Seriously? I'm supposing that's the solution to the puzzle. I could vaguely make out a few words, but I pretty much had no idea.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

No, I don't think letters should be reused.

Sorry for the caps lock in my last post. Heart was pounding as I finished, hoping I was first.

Hats off to David Johnson, it was an awesome puzzle and I had fun figuring it out. (Almost took a few wrong turns on duplicate numbers.)

Very nice. I literally just started tracing the numbers thinking I found something, only to see that it's already been found. Congratulations, sir.
