I finished playing some Halo 2 SP today and it had it's ups and downs. Some dull moments and very few exciting intense action. So I then replayed Halo 1 SP completely and had a blast. I noticed that the whole SP in Halo 1 always had great music playing, even when you're just exploring a creepy place with the flood around you. In Halo 2, you don't hear music, just some gun fires and hear covenant dying. There is very few music sequences in Halo 2 SP, which is a downer. The one thing Bungie needs to nail is the music. Have more music sequences that tie into the gameplay.

And this has what to do with Halo 3?...if you are saying the music sequences need to be in Halo 3, then you should have read the stickies and posted this in the Halo 3 ideas thread.

I think some of the guys that bungie fired (excluding shishka, which was a good decision) like the brute guy, and some other designers we were never told about that made halo 1 great, were the core. They were gone, and halo 2 sucked, I am surprised those idiots still haven't fired marty yet, he is doin an awesome job!

A witty signature.

People left... I don't think anyone got fired. What made you come up with that idea?

PS: Way to suck up to Shiska. Gah.

I disagree. Halo 2 SP didn't suck, it just needed some music here and there. The gameplay was rock solid and was worth playing, kept me hooked. Bungie just missed little things like at least have better music playing when you fight the final boss. That music had some creepy themes to it and it just didnt work.

The Halo CE's music sequences always reflected the mood of the gameplay. Intriguing, suspenseful, mysterious, horror, and adventerous when appropriate. Halo 2 did not nearly have that panache. In fact, all of Halo CE's music sequences should've been in Halo 2 plus additional new chant and vocal choruses in gameplay.

Weapons. Here is a major portion that went wrong. All the weapons were too generic. You always have an equalizer whereas in Halo CE all the weapons were unique and powerful in their own aspect. It has nothing to do with balance. In fact, balance is what made Halo 2 fail under some people's expectations. It's all about how quick and how creative you can land that enemy in a pool of his own blood.

Storyline-Halo 2 gives you or implies all the background details without something to even out the gameplay to make it more appealing and lasting. Halo CE Campaign-you didn't know anything beside the fact you're in unknown territory fighting to survive. So the whole atmosphere is important. Halo 2's storyline is predictable with each level.

Enviroment-Some parts were bland. Other parts were repetitive. And your proportion is completely..ugh..sized down.

But don't get me wrong. I was simply listing the errs of Halo 2's campaign. Halo 2's Campaign was awesome in its own aspect to the point that playing Halo's campaign over again seemed boring.

I thought that Halo 2 SP was good, but it could have been better. The Music that was there was good, but sometimes I did want there to be more. There didn't seem to be enough. I like Marty's work, but during parts of the Campaign I did feel that there needed to be music.

And I hated the Regret and Tartarus boss fights. And the Heretic leader one was only a little better.

All I remember from H2 SP was how pissed I was to play as an elite. Although, through hate for the brutes, I gained respect for the Elites.

I thought being an elite was cool at first but it was unnecessary since the only difference was I could turn invisible and cheat my way out of some tough battles.
