Subject: T-bagging increase

Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

Has anyone noticed a big increase in the amount of T-bagging on Reach recently? I have been T-bagged almost every game I play, regardless of how it is going.

Heck, people are even T-bagging when I am playing Man-Down and am only lose by 3-4 points.

Anybody else?

I'm not racist, I own a colored TV

The only fun about this game is how mad some people get when you do it.

I generally t-bag one guy, to have him t-bag my team mate who in turn, gets the wrong guy, all teabagging hell breaks loose.

Good times.

I don't need a specialized burger; I stack BKs on my own.

There's no such thing as "T-bagging".

It's "teabagging" and is such because it is a reference to repeatedly dunking teabags in water to brew your tea faster.

I don't get what's so hard to understand about that.

Also, if you care about somebody teabagging you, you can be sure that you invest far too much emotion into the game. It's precisely because kids like you react this way to teabagging that guys like me do it. Watching you get mad over somebody dominating your virtual corpse is utterly hilarious.

tl;dr stop caring so much. If you feel your blood pressure rising over pixels on top of your pixels, it's time to take a step outside for some air.

I know what you mean, OP. I too have found that the amount of people teabagging has had a dramatic increase.

It's because Reach is full of little children that find such a thing to be humorous. Expect those kids to move to Halo 4.

Does flaming people on forums count as an esport?

It's become not just a joke for humping a dead body, but a general sign of disrespect for your opponent. I don't teabag, I just respawn with a cool head and most often kill them back 3 or 4 times.

This. It's sad but true.

Little kids hyped up on rage and anger all because they have nothing to do on a Friday night.

Sad.

I despise teabaggers. They've got nothing better to do than hump dead bodies all day. It's sad, to be fair.

Oh yeah, because I was complainging, right? I just brought up the point and asked if anyone else noticed this too. I honestly couldn't care less if people do it, but its supposed to be disrespectful, and I don't understand why people are suddenly doing this disrespectful behavior so much more recently.

  • 08.18.2012 7:22 PM PDT

I have been bagging since 2001.

OP have you considered you may be getting worse and players have felt the need to Teabag you more as a result of that?

  • 08.18.2012 9:44 PM PDT

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

If you suck, you get teabagged.

That's how it is, and how it will forever be.

I just love going around while I'm losing because I'm 3 men down and teabagging everyone so I beging to get angry messages from sad 8 year olds who ran out of apple juice.... great times!

Obviously you care enough to have made this thread. The only people who care about teabagging are those who are bothered by it on some level. It's only disrespectful if you're a moron and take it seriously. If you read that much into celebratory crouching in a game, it's time to re-evaluate your priorities.

But to answer your question, no, I haven't noticed an increase in teabagging. Then again, when I play I also don't spend most of my time staring at a respawn screen.

Um, yes that is one part of the description of Tea Bagging. However, there is another meaning that I suggest you learn about by googling. It is this second more unsavory meaning that is applicable to the act in Halo.

Basia Basiliscum Meum

all the kiddies finally turned 12 so their parents gave them Halo
(and CoD)

It's simply the best when you see an enemy tea-bagging and you headshoot them - definite ROFPML time. Almost as funny as a 'Yoink!'

Na, assassinating them is better. Then you teabag the teabagger because only at that point things get interesting between the 2 players.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I haven't seen an increase in that activity recently.

  • 08.20.2012 3:07 PM PDT

The people who melee your body after you die are even worse.
The amount of times I've had people do that when they kill me whilst I'm already one-shot from challenging someone else is rediculous.

  • 08.20.2012 4:21 PM PDT

You got stuck by FalconStickr

Yeah I see the kids came out because the adults were away for a while. I miss 04-08 really bad. Online gaming is just not the same anymore. Its becoming a less fun place to be.
